THE CORPSE MAN
Linden believes that every posting should not be deadly serious. So, this is meant to satisfy his belief. Listened to a bit of Rush Limbaugh on Thursday and heard (twice) our President refer to a Naval Corpsman as a corpse man! As a result of this blunder you may wish to reassess sending a loved one to Harvard.
The U.S. Air Force was known as The Army Air Corps not too long before Linden enlisted: had it been referred to as the corpse, Linden probably would have served in a different branch. Please do not make the mistake to telling a member of the U.S.M.C. that they are a member of the Marine corpse.
In the same rather lighthearted vein, Linden heard (or read) some place that the governmental agency that reports on unemployment had made a mistake of roughly one million unemployed persons! If this is true, one needs to discover how many are employed at taxpayer expense in this agency and then compute their cost-benefit ratio.

LINDEN'S LIFE
Only Jack and I were present for our Thursday breakfast meeting: it went well in spite of the missing persons. The rest of the day was busy but not newsworthy. Butler basketball was on in the evening.

NOTE: Linden will be one of ten authors at the Plainfield Public Library from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6. It would be nice to see you there.

GOOD WORKS
Thanks to those who purchased books or a CD or donated to the effort, we were able in 2009 to provide, through IDES, two goats, a water buffalo, and a fishing boat with net to needy families in third world countries.
In 2010 we will diversify our good works. Recipients are:
January, TCM, Austria, ministry scholarship. http://www.tcmi.org/
February, local need, not part of original plan.
The Book Nook, 33 E. Main, Mooresville is a local source of Linden’s books and CD.
