THE HEALTHCARE SUMMIT
The lamestream media apparently devoted very little attention to what was billed as a defining healthcare meeting: this is a sure sign that the Republicans performed better than that media hoped.

Our white President (The Corpseman) controlled and dominated the allocated time by frequently suggesting that shortcomings in the Senate and House bills were not really the matter which was being discussed.

The W.P., in closing, suggested that the democrats were just going to pass this deeply flawed legislation regardless of anything, including public sentiment. Surely no thinking American continues to support him.

The links below bring you an excellent “Healthcare Summit”,
article, another view of Sarah Palin, a really great, from the conservative standpoint, rating of all the Representatives and Senators, and the music title is a possible reflection of the type of representation we commonly have.

LINDEN'S LIFE
The primary items of interest on Friday and Saturday were the Men’s Prayer Breakfast and the Chamber of Commerce fund raising dinner and auction. Since Kent was responsible for this latter affair, Donna picked me up for the short ride there. It was enjoyable…I didn’t bid on any thing.
Sunday was church services, Sunday school, and brunch with friends. Continued to watch the U.S. hockey team on TV as they
Won a silver medal.
My friends, Lisa and Peter, who live in Maine won $5,000.00 for the pet center where she works in a contest sponsored by Suburu. Lisa and their dog, Bella, are in the video. You may view the video here:

GOOD WORKS
Thanks to those who purchased books or a CD or donated to the effort, we were able in 2009 to provide, through IDES, two goats, a water buffalo, and a fishing boat with net to needy families in third world countries.

In 2010 we will diversify this area of our good works. New recipients are:

January, TCM, Austria, ministry scholarship. http://www.tcmi.org/
February, local need, not part of original plan.
February, Hillsdale College. www.hillsdale.edu

The Book Nook, 33 E. Main, Mooresville is a local source of Linden’s books and CD.

Feel free to make others aware of this blog and our efforts.
