9-10-10 CONGRESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS
Following the truly mediocre legislative record of the past four years, it is time. with great hope, to present some expectations for the next Congress to attempt to fulfill. Here are some:

No vote for any bill that has not been read and analyzed.
Members should keep primary residence in State they represent.
Members should develop an approach to limiting terms.
Reduce amount available for white house discretionary spending.
Repeal current healthcare bill, start over in small steps.
Limit bill size to well under 1,000 pages.
Recover unspent TARP, Stimulus and the like monies.
Reduce number and compensation of federal employees.
Repeal the bill that does away with incandescent light bulbs.
Extend the Bush tax cuts.

LINDEN'S LIFE
Had breakfast with Bill, Chuck, and Jack. Bought some cookies to take to our Golden Glows pitch-in at the park. Great food and a very nice time. Overfull, took a nap when I arrived back home. Nothing major the rest of the day.
