This wonderful book, written by Luke about 30 to 35 years after the ascension of Jesus Christ, primarily addresses the spread of the gospel to the gentiles and throughout the known world. Peter is most important for his work toward formation of the early church in Jerusalem and Paul for his work as a missionary.
The travels of Paul were often difficult but he was completely dedicated to the task. He was almost certainly the most influential in the spread of the gospel by those involved in the early church. The book ends showing Paul as being well known and respected in Rome.

Dropped off my recyclables, went to the post office, gas station, and grocery. Did two loads of wash and just a little cleaning and then it was nighttime. Had some badly needed rain today.
