A WORTHWHILE APPROACH

Following the murders in Tucson by a mentally impaired man, we were treated by many “respected” members of the MSM to several allegations that right wingers, Tea Partiers, or others of the more conservative bent were responsible for this bloodbath. Sarah Palin was probably mentioned more frequently in this regard than any other.

Linden believes that it is past time for these media outlets to pay a higher price for their slipshod, rancorous reporting. It is time for responsible persons who are subjects to this slanted and inaccurate “reporting” to strike back. Linden’s suggestion is that advertisers be contacted and told that shopping in their place of business will be curtailed until they quit supporting these offenders of truth.

The first three links below focus on aspects of this lackluster type of news coverage. The music link is to a song that I had not heard in years…it is different. The song plus the weather are reminders of my days in Alaska.

LINDEN’S LIFE

Friday: Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00. Renewed my drivers license…if the picture on the license is as ugly as the paper version, I am one ugly guy. Later, went to the post office, credit union and dropped off paper for recycling. Talked to Brian.

Saturday: Attended a good writers group meeting. In the afternoon, did a load of wash and listened to La Traviata.

Sunday: At church, Steve used the book of James as he spoke on the worth of a person. At Sunday school, John continued his teaching from the book of Joshua. We had three visitors from Ukraine. After going to brunch with friends I read the paper, napped, watched a bit of football, listened to Celtic and German music on the radio, and watched some basketball.
