WISHFUL THINKING

Linden is the kind of guy who thinks that a hundred dollars is a significant amount of money. He can, some days, imagine what one million is. On no days does he grasp one billion (one thousand million,) and he will never be able to grasp exactly what is one trillion (one thousand billion.) If one entity is in the hole fourteen trillion dollars, as our country is, there is no way that Linden will ever understand what his share of this mismanagement is. He knows it is more than one hundred dollars. Sometimes he wishes he were more intelligent.

Linden was favorably impressed with the budget deficit article which is linked immediately below. Hope you have time to read it.

LINDEN’S LIFE

On Wednesday, I went to two stores, the post office, and inspected the Mission House for any damage from the Tuesday night storm. Did some writing in three areas not associated with my next book.

Dinner at church in the evening. This was followed by a great program on celebration of the Passover and the Christian meanings associated with the various elements of the Passover meal. It was presented by David Brickner of Jews for Jesus.
