WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?

The Florida election, which is addressed in the article linked below, had a happy enough outcome but raises some troubling questions. Both of the electable candidates received over 80,000 votes. Considering the damage that the democrats have done and are doing to our country, what could a voter possibly be thinking about to cast a vote for one of them. The thinking of Libertarians is more closely aligned with that of Republicans than it is with the other major party. In Indiana in 2012 a conservative Republican lost to a democrat who is little different than President Obama. Had the votes of the Libertarians been instead cast for the Republican, we would have one more worthwhile Senator now. If one knows that a member of one of the two major parties is going to win the election, why would one elect the worst candidate by casting their vote for a person who cannot possibly win? Perhaps many voters think not at all!

Wednesday brought a light snow which followed thunder, lightning and rain overnight. My daytime activities were limited to a trip to the post office and staying busy around the house. Corresponded with Brian. Had a good meal and attended a program at church. Watched the last part of the Butler loss in the Big East tournament.
