LINDEN’S LEGACY

My Bless A Stranger focus has been a low cost enjoyable crowdfunding effort. My first eight projects, all successfully funded, involved a music DVD, a race car, making a movie, Alaskan teens radio program, seats in a theater, a poet, a website and a writing residency. My most recent project has a few days to go and should provide me with a thank you note. COMMENTARY: EBOLA: SCARIER THAN CANCER

Some forms of cancer are curable, others are treatable. It is still a word that causes chills to run up your spine. So far there seems to be no known successful treatment for ebola and it looks like death is pretty certain for those who are infected. Sending large numbers of the military to do who knows what in Africa appears (to me) to be the decision of a madman. The link below is to another above average Ann Coulter writing.

Thursday was one of those rare occasions when I missed breakfast with the guys: I would have preferred to be with them. I was at the VA Hospital for a 9:30 appointment…some very nice doctors addressed my reason for being there: they cut out a cyst from my right ear lobe and removed an ugly looking thingy (I forget what they called it) from my upper chest. It was nice to get back home. The ear hurt some the chest not so much. Not much else to report…I did talk to Brian for a bit. Regarding my current Bless A Stranger interest (mentioned above) it is about ¼ of the way to being funded with two weeks to go. I hope they are successful.
