LINDEN’S LEGACY

My Bless A Stranger focus has been a low cost enjoyable crowdfunding effort. My first ten projects, all successfully funded, involved a music DVD, a race car, making a movie, Alaskan teens radio program, seats in a theater, a poet, a website, a writing residency, a third grade newspaper, and a poetry press. My most recent project has a few days to go and should provide me with a book. I hope that my most recent book SOWING SEEDS OF FAITH will result in at least one person coming closer to Jesus Christ. It touches upon a means you may use that could cause another, as well as yourself, to be blessed.

COMMENTARY: THE WAR ON MARRIAGE

Some call it “The War On Poverty” but that was not the purpose at all. The purpose of Lyndon Johnson and the democrats who brought this law into being was to wreck the black family and it was highly successful in doing so. Linden remembers when the average black family was not so different from the average white family…it was roughly fifty years ago. It is baffling that a high percentage of black voters fail to understand the cause of much of their discontentment. The article linked below addresses this subject.

I usually start my day by posting my blog except on Friday when I’m at church early. On Wednesday the computer was balky so I went for breakfast at Chick-fil-A. While there I noticed a column by a black female staff writer that attempted to address problems within the black community. Having read some of her opinions previously, I didn’t finish reading the column. What I did think was that this writer needs a history lesson. I’ve had that thought before. I would call the linked article to her attention but think it would be a waste of time. Back home I talked to both Brian and Julie…mostly about my concern regarding my vision. It always makes for a good day when I speak to both of them. In the evening I had dinner and attended a study at church.
