Now funded!!
To date 16 of the projects I have backed were successfully
funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately
one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to
go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

COMMENTARY: JUNE CHRISTIAN STUDIES
Steve White was in the pulpit three times and Brian
Leslie once as the focus was on 2 Corinthians. In Sunday School, John Lee
completed the study of Revelations, we had a session devoted to the Ghana
mission and then began study of The Holy Spirit. Thursday breakfast sessions
were led by Chuck, Bill, Paul, and Jack. Ed Furnas led one Friday morning
breakfast session and Steve White led the other three as we completed the study
of Galatians. Had Saturday breakfast meetings at Chapel Rock and Kingsway plus
a Monday dinner CDCMF meeting at Southport Heights.

Tuesday I went out for breakfast then dropped off my
recyclables and picked up my mail. Did a couple loads of wash and stayed busy
at home. In the evening I had dinner at the Avon Legion Post. I think you will
like the music linked below: hard to believe that as I neared my Air Force
discharge I considered learning to play the washboard and going to Paris to be
a street musician with my banjo playing friend.
