COMMENTARY: PORKER OF THE YEAR

This award is designed to call attention to the person who is most worthy of being designated as the one who failed to properly serve the needs of the taxpaying public. Not surprisingly, there are many “public servants” who should be considered when choosing the worst of the worst. What should be the result of being so dishonored? Since Congress controls the budget process, perhaps the answer if to penalize the agency or group involved. This answer calls attention to the folly of baseline budgeting.

Wednesday started with biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A followed by trips to a grocery and the post office. Stayed busy at home until time to go to church for dinner and a study. My car wouldn't start when I left the church so I walked the short distance home in the cold.
