If I have not before posted on the subject of some of the shortcomings of a number of the institutions of “higher learning”, I should have. There have been many instances of the adoption of stances that are not a bit in line with the needs of the students. The article linked below illustrates the result.

Thursday started with the breakfast meeting with the guys: since Jack, Lloyd, and Paul were absent, only Bill, Chuck, and I attended. I made a couple of stops after the meeting: had to buy a new belt since the ones I owned had all outgrown me. I was mostly unproductive the rest of the day...I'm still spending way too much time looking for things that I have saved in places where they are really hard to find.
