COMMENTARY: AUGUST CHRISTIAN STUDIES:
Subjects presented by Steve White from the pulpit centered on Ecclesiastes, baptism, and Jonah. During Sunday School John Lee presented studies of Ephesians and a “We Speak” book and students reported on their trip to Ghana. On Wednesday I had dinner twice at church and attended three studies of religion. My Thursday breakfasts included devotions by Chuck, Jack, Paul, and Lloyd. Friday breakfasts included studies of Proverbs delivered by Steve White. I also had breakfast meetings at Chapel Rock and Kingsway and a dinner meeting at Bluff Creek Christian Churches.

Articles linked below start with one regarding Hillary Clinton while the other two linked articles may be used from now until election day in the hope that every voter will have read them and, of course, the hope is that they will think about the contents.

MOSTLY ABOUT ME lswift8@aol.com
Friday brought Men's Prayer Breakfast at 6:00: after awakening at 4:30 it is not surprising that I was sleepy and tired all day. Talked to Brian and did some tasks.
Saturday I was at Chapel Rock Christian at 7:30. Had a good breakfast and heard a really good presentation by Fred Rodkey. Stopped by a grocery and the post office on the way home: received a Bless A Stranger support check and a picture of Todd Rokita, our 4th District Congressman, and myself at a recent political affair. Did two loads of wash and heard a really good opera singer on RTE. In the evening Norm Stout and I went to Plainfield High School to welcome back the Indy Honor Flight and the 178 veterans it had taken to D.C. His wife, Jill, was one of the Guardians. Somehow, Stephanie saw me in the large crowd sitting on the bleachers and came up for a few words. It was a great event: Taps was played, The Gordon Pipers appeared, and it was a great welcome home. Norm and Jill brought me home about 10:30 and I was absolutely worn out.
Sunday started with church and Sunday School attendance after which I, being still tired, came home for a nap.

Leroy Troy is the featured artist this week. Drew brought him to my attention after the 9-2-16 Men's Prayer Breakfast. Really different!

REMEMBER NEW 9-5-16

The democrats brought you Obamacare.
Obama, Clinton, Reid, and Pelosi lead the forces of evil.
Hate crime laws should be overturned.
Baseline budgeting is a taxpayer insult.
Hillary Clinton's actions risked our national security.
Your life is affected by politics every day.
Only you can think for you: do it and vote.

SCOTUS: undeserving of respect.
Your political party is not more important than your country!
