WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?
This posting is directed to those democrats voters in Iowa, Wyoming, Vermont, Wisconsin, Virginia, Nebraska, Minnesota, Colorado, Connecticut, Kansas, Utah, North Dakota, and Idaho. There are probably other states that are largely populated by whites that gave the majority to Barack Obama in their recent candidate selection process, but, I missed them in the selection process.
Linden, intentionally, did not list those states with large black populations: One would have to be statistically unaware to not know that about 90% of the black voters will opt for the democrat candidate and close to the same percentage will vote for the black if that choice is offered. One has to wonder if the white voters followed this same type of selection procedure, would they be considered racially bigoted?
Considering that the flap over Obama's pastor has pretty well dominated the political news in the recent past, one tends to forget the Obama association with a reputed crook in Chicago. So, perhaps the question should not be "what were you thinking?" Probably a better way to word the question is "what were you feeling?" After all, poor thinking can lead to suspicion of stupidity while "feelings" can be described as a very caring trait.
I suppose one could justify this selection by offering the excuse that there was just no worthwhile alternative, and some would think this to be true. Regardless, how could you select that party when both candidates have stated that they intend to raise taxes and have strongly implied that they would make no major effort to curb runaway spending?

HELP WANTED

It appears that in the last general election there were no Republican candidates in 39 districts scattered across 15 states. These positions offer much more than just good pay. Some of these districts are listed below in State, District and general location sequence. Please help find a Republican candidate in these districts. Even if these districts can reasonably be considered “lost causes,” the effected taxpayers need to have a choice.

Illinois 12 East St. Louis – One Found?

Massachusetts 1 Berkshire, Hampden, Hampshire and other Counties
Massachusetts 2 Springfield area
Massachusetts 3 Bristol area – One Found?
Massachusetts 4 Bristol area – One Found?
Massachusetts 5 Essex, Middlesex and Worcester Counties
Massachusetts 7 Middlesex and Suffolk Counties
Massachusetts 8 Middlesex and Suffolk Counties

In recent ratings, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste considered 32 of the present officeholders (democrats) to be hostile, 6 unfriendly, and 1 lukewarm to taxpayers. The National Taxpayers Union granted a grade of “F” to 36 of this group while 3 of them rose to a “D”.

WHAT IF?

Surely you believe that the liberal dominated news media is very, very selective in what “news” they will print or report. Have you noticed the absence of reporting about the improved situation in Iraq? There are, of course, other examples but Linden will assume that you can think. WHAT IF, you complained to the lackluster “news” provider and, if satisfaction is not obtained you then call those who advertise in that medium? Your message could be something like: “ I am disappointed that you choose to advertise in or on …. Who will not report…. Perhaps this approach would pay dividends in the form of less biased news coverage.
