AN ANALOGY:
Although the other links are worth your time to investigate, it is the letter read by Glenn Beck upon which Linden chooses to direct his attention. It is well thought out and well presented but does seem to be another of those “throw them all out” writings. Linden does disagree with that line of thinking. Therefore this analogy:

Suppose you are one in a group of 545 who are charged with the responsibility of performing great tasks. The larger group within this 545 has the power to make all the decisions, regardless of what you and the others may wish. They display great solidarity.
This larger group, numbering about 325, has no wish to perform the task in a responsible manner. (Congressional democrats)
The smaller group of about 220 (Congressional Republicans) have almost no power but 200 of them, of which you are one, really want the overall effort to be successful. The other 20, in varying degrees, are not as responsible.
A movement is underway which advocates the replacement of all of the 535. Does this seem fair, right, and good. NO! The 325 should be terminated without a second thought, 200 should be retained and the other 20 should be selectively culled. This requires some thought.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
At 9:00, had a good meeting with my Study Buddy—she had colored a picture for me. It is now on my refrigerator. Went to the store and post office. The good dinner at church was followed by our third night of study regarding the Holy Spirit.
