ZEPHANIAH
This little book, written by another of the minor prophets about 600 years before the coming of Jesus Christ, is another writing that speaks of the coming destruction of Judah and Jerusalem.
The book closes with words indicating that good things would follow the display of God’s wrath.

LINDEN'S LIFE
Attended an early morning Republican breakfast: good food, good program. In the afternoon I actually did a little straightening up in the upstairs and sorted out some junk to get rid of.
Today marks the birthday of our 27th President, William Howard Taft. He supported the 16th Amendment to our Constitution which allowed for a federal income tax and the 17th Amendment which put into effect the direct election of Senators. At this time, Linden does not favor either Amendment.
