The Indianapolis Star, or other such “purveyors of truth,” by providing their readers with a steady diet of (as considered by Linden) left-leaning columnists such as Sheila Kennedy, Eugene Robinson, Ken Bode, Leonard Pitts, E. J. Dionne, Roland Martin, and Froma Harrop should not expect the opinion of their editorial board to be highly respected.
Particularly disturbing to Linden were the editorial board endorsements of Visclosky, Donnelly, Reid, Carson and Hill in their House races; Osili in a statewide race; Crawford in an Indiana House race; and all the candidates for Marion County offices except for Mark Massa. It is probable that there are others which just weren’t inspected closely enough by Linden.
Linden’s endorsement: Vote against any candidate for any office who may have been inclined to support Obama!

LINDEN'S LIFE
Friday brought the early morning Men’s Prayer Breakfast followed by lunch at the home of Doug and Jane…Bob and Gayle were up from Tennessee so, it was a small gathering of friends. I talked to Julie for quite a while…she and her family have been sickly.
On Saturday, I read, messed with the computer, listened to and/or watched football games, and Madonna called for a nice visit. She has some health issues. She, just before moving to Arizona, was such a help to me as I was preparing to move and was not feeling well at all.
Sunday brought church, Sunday school, brunch with friends, a long nap and paper reading. Then, I attended evening church services. Diana brought me half of a chocolate pie and I had a big piece of it immediately after returning home.
