LINDEN'S CANDIDATE SELECTION UPDATE
Earlier Linden scraped up enough money to make a contribution (modest) to seven different Congressional candidates. With today being the day that voters will make their selection, he will present his final pre election thoughts in regard to these Conservatives.
Alaska, Joe Miller: locked in what is considered to be a close race with a RINO who is running a write in campaign, it is interesting that more than 100 others filed last minute write in candidacy papers as a protest against Joe’s opponent.
Delaware, Christine O’Donnell: Linden believes this to be a close race. Interestingly, a presentation mix-up prevented an impressive last minute O’Donnell ad from being presented as planned. Christine is considered the underdog. Unfortunately.
Indiana 4, Todd Rokita is favored and Linden thinks it would be a tragedy if he is not the winner.
Indiana 7, Marvin Scott has, in Linden’s estimation, ran a good campaign. He is not favored but it would be a blessing if he is chosen.
Minnesota, Michele Bachmann is favored and it will be a tragedy if she is not selected.
Nevada, Sharron Angle is in a tight race against an unsavory opponent. Surely she will win out.
New York, Doug Hoffman, running as a Conservative, has thrown his support to the Republican in the hope that the democrat loses. It was the proper thing to do.

LINDEN'S LIFE
I met Mike and Joe for a very pleasant breakfast. Warren, our PCC Minister about 30 years ago, had called me and needed a sample election ballot…Mike had one for me.
I went to the post office, gas station, and grocery. Later, took the sample ballot to Warren…he, his wife, and I had a good visit. Warren played the harmonica some while I was there and it sounded very good. His wife is weak so he does all the cooking.
Later, I took him one of my CDs plus a copy of my latest book, “Making Meals, Managing Money, And Living Life.” I thought perhaps he could get some meal ideas from the book.
Some years ago I developed a hole in the macula of my left eye. The operation was not bad but the recuperative period (8 days and nights completely face down) was more than a little difficult. Thank God I stayed at Rubye’s house and she took excellent care of me. Tomorrow, Donna McPhail has an operation of the same type. Fortunately, Kent will be taking care of her but your prayers will be appreciated.
