OBAMA’S BUDGET

Based upon early coverage, Linden has to believe that this “budget” is just a very bad joke. It was reported that it contains fifteen tax increases yet provides for yet another multi-billion dollar deficit spending plan. Sadly, it talks about perhaps being of some value in ten years. By then, hopefully, Obama will be out of office for eight years.

The Republicans certainly have their work cut out for them and will get little cooperation from the Senate or the White house. The time for cuts is now.

In the two hundred and twenty some years of the history of our nation, have we ever been so poorly led? Surely this is not the hope and change so many professed to want.

LINDEN’S LIFE

Spent some time starting the process of selecting cassette tapes I may wish to keep. Went to the post office and credit union. Chipped the remaining ice off the Mission House walkway…some of it had to be three inches thick! Did a load of wash and some paperwork.
