SMALL BUDGET CUTTING STEPS
Maybe they are not really all that small but Linden is impatient. A cut that is now out of committee is to cut a total of 32 billion dollars from a number of departments. Actually that is a pretty large figure, but Linden wants more.
Also, a vote is expected next week to defund Obamacare…now that could be a really large one! It will be interesting to see if and how that effort moves forward.

The politically oriented articles selected for today are, in Linden’s opinion, well worth your time to read. The music link could bring tears to your eyes.

LINDEN’S LIFE
It was miserably cold out for these old bones and after I had made a trip to the post office, the credit union, and a grocery, I was in for the rest of the day. Part of the time was spent listening to a CD of the 2008 Edinburgh Military Tattoo that Brian brought me. Sad song! Rubye and I had planned on going to Edinburgh in 2001 and on to Ireland but she had a reoccurrence of cancer and we canceled our plan.
