This short writing, as is true of his first letter, was addressed to the churches in Asia Minor and was probably written in about A.D. 66 or 67.

The letter is one of reinforcement: strengthening the existent beliefs and warning, again, about those within the church who would attempt to lead their followers to perdition.

Had a breakfast of biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A. Went to a grocery store and the post office. Back home, made good progress clearing my pending paperwork.
