UPDATED DEBT BILL THOUGHTS

As Linden composed this, the final results of Congressional action required to move the “agreement” forward had not yet been publicized. Linden has mixed, probably predominately negative thoughts about this bill. These include: the Bush tax cuts could expire, worry about further defense cuts, and, probably worst of all, blessing Obama with the ability to probably waste another 2.4 TRILLION dollars. Any idea how large that number is? Preferable to this would be the adoption of the debt increases allowed during the Reagan administration…multiple relatively small increases.

LINDEN’S LIFE

On Monday, I only stirred out to pick up my mail…perhaps the reason for me feeling so lethargic is the excitement associated with seeing each of my children over the weekend. Did some reading, little writing, and received a politically oriented call from Kent and sent out some e-mails in that regard.
