A GLIMMER OF HOPE
At a time when the citizens of Indiana are being treated to evidence of the democrat members of our state legislature proving beyond a shadow of doubt why they should never be returned to office, it is pure pleasure to read of a spontaneous show of support for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
Reports indicate that his reforms have resulted in that state moving from a budget deficit to a budget surplus, taxes being reduced, and school districts becoming solvent. It is hard to understand how any taxpayer could be opposed to the changes he has put into effect. Yet, a serious effort is being waged to nullify his election. The link below addresses a show of support for Governor Walker.

OTHER STUFF
The biscuits and gravy at our 6:00 a.m. Men’s Prayer Breakfast may have been the best ever. Had a great phone visit with Julie in the afternoon. Saturday brought a good men’s meeting at Kingsway followed by a writers group meeting. Had my church directory picture taken in the afternoon. The Sunday sermon by Steve White was “Trash Talking” based on Matthew 12:33-37. John Lee’s Sunday school lesson focused on Matthew 23 & 24.
