BORING
WHITE GUYS
It
seems to Linden that most of the “news” commentators are boring white guys with
an occasional boring white women, and boring black and Hispanic men and women
thrown into the mix. Of course, Linden’s view of the media is generally
unfavorable. As shown in the following link, Mitt Romney had a very good

ABOUT ME lswift8@aol.com
Sunday,
August 5, 2012 is the date of the 7th annual Plainfield Christian
Church free (donations will be accepted to benefit the bands) bluegrass music
and southern gospel concert. Music will start shortly before 3:00 p.m. and end
at 5:00. Featured bands are: that of 10-year-old Kyle Ramey, The Gospel
Servants quartet, and The Birch Creek Bluegrass Band.
Here
is a bluegrass song, #15 of those selected for you:
We
were supposed to get some rain during the daylight hours on Thursday. Didn’t!
My day started with the usual Thursday breakfast meeting…Jack and Wayne
couldn’t make it. At 11:30, the Golden Glows had a pitch-in luncheon at
church…it was very good as was the report the students gave regarding their
recent trip to Cambodia. Later, Julie called for a good visit. This helped to
make a good day even better.
