POSTING #1200: DESIRED CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS HEARINGS

Although the contempt of congress results as applied to the case of Attorney General Holder have failed, to this point, to provide the desired result, the attempt itself was not wasted effort. It is past time to consider such an action, if possible, against those members of Congress who walked out rather than consider the matter before the legislative body. They were elected to serve and they failed to do so. If there is no punitive action taken against them, surely the voters will throw them out.

I was up early on Independence Day, listened to classical music until 9:00, then the great Greg Garrison patriotic radio show until noon…had memories of the service of cousins Paul, Norman and Bill and maybe a few of my own. Then, went to The American Legion Post to pick up some food to bring home…it was good and there was plenty for the day. In the afternoon, Mexican was the music of choice and I had a few more  memories related to my Air Force days. Then classical music again until a western movie came on. Of course, I performed minor household tasks during most of this time.
