It seems that the message from Washington is to never let pass an opportunity to spend money. Thinking back to the comments made by Nancy Pelosi in regard to passage of this healthcare monstrosity one can only wonder if the voters in her District are uncaring enough to elect her again. Friday started with the Men’s Prayer Breakfast. Later, had a nice long talk with niece, Joyce.

Saturday found me at Chapel Rock CC at 7:30 for a good breakfast and a good lesson delivered by Fred Rodkey. Watched the Kentucky Derby and one other race: would have lost on the Derby and won on the other race.

Church and Sunday school attendance started my Sunday. In the evening, went to a pitch-in dinner at church followed by a report from the Wash family regarding their missionary work in Tanzania. A great effort!
