COMMENTARY: JULY CHRISTIAN STUDIES

Church services, led by Steve White, continued with the story of the Bible and ended with the resurrection. The four Sunday School classes followed the same lessons as were presented at church. John Lee led three of the lessons and Larry Vandeventer led the other one. Our small group of guys that meet for Thursday breakfast was led by Bill and myself in prayer and readings. Steve White presented studies of Galatians at our four Friday morning Men’s Prayer Breakfasts. I also attended one men’s meeting at Kingsway CC and the monthly CDCMF meeting at Southport Heights CC.

Met with the five regulars at our small Thursday morning breakfast meeting: Lloyd joined us just a little later. I had lunch in Danville with Lloyd, Ron, and Richard. Dan and Diana had been trimming trees around the place all day and dropped by for coffee and conversation before heading home. I had a good phone visit with Julie before lunch.
