LINDEN’S LEGACY

After helping to fund more than a dozen successful “Bless A Stranger” projects I decided to allow strangers and friends to attempt to fund my own birthday project. This is the project that failed. Particulars are located at:

My “Ireland Is Calling” fundraising effort failed to reach the goal of extending my planned visit of a week or ten days to maybe three weeks or so. Therefore, I received no funding. Fortunately some friends have now provided funds to allow another two days and more gifts are expected. I will provide the same rewards as previously promised.

It is puzzling how Linden could have missed the extensive media coverage that the picture and article linked below surely received. If it was missed by those in the media, it reflects very poorly regarding their competence. If they were aware and deliberately chose to ignore the story, they do not deserve any title associated with news provider. Nor do they deserve the income derived from advertisers.

Wednesday morning I had a long and very pleasant phone visit with Julie. After lunch I went to a bank and the post office in the freezing cold. Dan and Diana came by in the afternoon. Dinner and program at church was canceled.
