LINDEN’S LEGACY:
After helping to fund more than a dozen successful “Bless
A Stranger” projects I decided to allow strangers and friends to attempt to
fund my own birthday project. This is the project that failed. Particulars are
located at:
My “Ireland Is Calling” fundraising effort failed to reach
the goal of extending my planned visit of a week or ten days to maybe three
weeks or so. Therefore, I received no funding. I HAVE THE GREATEST SUPPORT! If
my cost estimate of $200.00 per day is accurate, I can now stay three days
longer than my budget will probably allow. I continue to receive blessings!

COMMENTARY; THIS AIN’T NEWS
It
being Sunday when I started putting this posting together it seemed almost sac
religious to write of the unconstitutional bent of our current President or the
to date inability of the current Congress to rein him in. Therefore, I bring
you, thanks to Mary, some reminders of a great leader in the link below.

Friday
started, as usual, with the Men’s Prayer Breakfast which was followed by a long
nap. I picked up my mail and made good progress on the computer. Talked to
Brian.
On
Saturday Sam brought me some sweets from Shirley then joined me for breakfast
at the Legion. Back home, one of the topics of conversation was making model
airplanes when we were children. Shortly after he left, Rich came by with
sweets that Marsha sent: she was one of the other judges at the oratorical
contest last week. Later, a new experience for me: the commode overflowed!
Luckily, it was just water but there was plenty of it…ran all the way to the kitchen!
A
heavy snow kept me from my normal Sunday school and church activity. I pigged
out on the sweets that were brought to me yesterday and accomplished very
little otherwise. I am hopeless.
