Now funded!!
To date 16 of the projects I have backed were successfully
funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately
one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to
go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

COMMENTARY: A BASIC MISCONCEPTION
Linden absolutely believes that among our political
“leaders” the worst Republican is better for America than the best democrat.
This does not mean that he believes that all Republicans there are strong
conservatives, as they should be. In the article and video linked below,
Senator Hatch strikes one as a person who has “served” too long. He apparently
believes that his reason for being there is to not ruffle feathers. He has
apparently forgotten, if he ever knew, that his responsibility there is to
serve the American people. If one can not tell the difference between the
Republican leadership and Harry Reid it is way past time to appear to be
rude.

Monday
started with biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A followed by trips to two stores,
a gas station and the post office. At home, I was busy all day and made some
progress. Did two loads of wash, corresponded with Brian and did a bunch of
correspondence. The Mexican jailhouse melody linked below is another of my
favorites.
