Now funded!!
To date 16 of the projects I have backed were successfully
funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately
one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to
go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

There just has to be some reason why so many people vote
for the democrats. Perhaps the primary reason is shown in the list contained in
the article linked below. Or, perhaps there is no logical reason.

Wednesday
was another busy day. It started with biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A, followed
by trips to a bank and the post office then a long phone visit with Julie. In
the evening Chick-fil-A treated me and twelve guests to a really nice Ireland
Was Calling party. Attendees were some of those who have been so supportive of
my upcoming trip. Several others could not make it to the dinner. I am so
blessed by my friends and by Chick-fil-A Plainfield. I’ve always admired the
beauty of the song linked below.
