Monday started with breakfast at Chick-fil-A and good visits with Helen and John. From there, I went to the post office, got a haircut, and went back home for E-mail and phone visits with Julie. Dan and Diana dropped by for coffee and conversation. In the evening I went to a meeting at the Legion Post. My mail included a notice from the National Personnel Records Center saying that my military records have been destroyed but they did include a Certification Of Military Service which should serve as a replacement for the requested DD214. My thanks to Lori Turpin for addressing this matter for me.
