COMMENTARY: CHOOSE CORRECTLY:
Since this commentary is usually of a political nature I suppose
the title of this could very well pertain to political matters,
certainly the political leadership of this country is evidence of
failing to choose correctly. But, the basis for choosing the title
today is the presentation made by Senior Pastor Fred Rodkey of Chapel
Rock Christian Church at Saturday's monthly men's meeting. Of course
he was speaking of choosing to trust God. Every day we make choices
in many different areas and our lives will be better if we make the
correct choices. As part of his presentation he mentioned a song
written by Marijohn Wilkin, it is linked below. Listen to it.
Mostly About Me:
lswift8@aol.com
Friday started with the early
morning Men's Prayer Breakfast then I took a long nap followed by
picking up mail, doing some paperwork and taking a short walk: Windy.
Saturday morning I drove to the
meeting mentioned in the commentary where Lindsay gave me a gift of
two flannel shirts: we had talked about shopping for them earlier. It
was still too windy outside to walk so I listened to the opera,
Madame Butterfly on RTE and then watched some basketball.
Sunday brought church and Sunday
School attendance, a trip to a grocery and little else.

Usually in this space I feature a
singer. This week it will be a songwriter with each day a different
singer doing her best known song.
Marijohn Wilkin is the featured
songwriter.
