To date 23 of the projects I have backed were successfully funded and 6 failed to meet their goal and received no funding.

COMMENTARY: RATING PRESIDENTS, #6 & #8:
There have been 13 Presidents that I remember as having held office in my lifetime. If things go as planned the next six weekends, starting 9-16-16, I will present my thoughts and evaluation of this group. Today I rate President H. W. Bush as number 6 and President Kennedy as number 8..

President H.W. Bush was in office when The Berlin Wall fell and East and West Germany was reunited and also waged a successful war against Iraq which freed Kuwait. He nominated Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. The Soviet Union Dissolved during his Presidency. On the negative side, what some view as dishonesty on the part of the democrat Congress Bush was forced to raise taxes and thereby void a campaign promise. It is probable that a third party candidate caused him to lose his reelection bid.
Accomplishments of President Kennedy could be viewed as The Cuban Blockade, the formation of The Peace Corps, and starting the effort to place a man on the moon. His negatives would include The Bay of Pigs fiasco, his blunders at The Vienna Summit, and his early steps leading to The Viet Nam war. It appears that his family money influenced the reporting involving his war record and his election.

Thursday started with breakfast with the guys at 8:00 with all present. From there I went to a store, the credit union and the post office. Not terribly productive the rest of the day but did start a new Bless A Stranger project. Unfortunately the previous project was not successful..
