CHRISTMAS WEEK - TUESDAY

This is the three hundredth LINDENWOULD posting!

It was only slightly above zero outside but it felt like global warming was a reality as I walked the roughly half block to pick up my morning paper. That is, of course, in comparison to yesterday when the wind carried the cold close to your bones.

Did some minor running around and then started trying to get the place straightened up to the point where Julie won’t say, “Dad, you need to get a housekeeper!”

A DISCLAIMER:
I know that I said yesterday that I would not talk politics on Christmas week: It doesn’t count if I refer you to the Ann Coulter piece on Human Events entitled, “Conservative of the Year.” I enjoyed it.

I hope you will be able to see this item Julie sent me:

This, that Bill sent, is different from the one above but well worth watching:

GIFT GIVING?
Any of Linden’s six books or his first CD could be what you are looking for: They are inexpensive and not everybody has one.

The CD “Songs A Poor Old Police Department Retiree Might Write While Waiting For His Meager Pension Check” features Linden’s original compositions. The book subject matter ranges from political through poetry, baseball, prayer, cryptograms and Linden’s pilgrimage in Spain at age 75.
