THEY APPARENTLY RETURNED:
Well, it happened—several comments were heard from Nancy Pelosi and the news reported that President Obama had delivered his promised speech to school children. Actually, it was not the speech first promised which was little more than an effort to recruit the youngsters to the service of Obama. Nope, it was considerably watered down and could have been and probably was delivered by many parents before the children left for school.

Linden also heard mention of the lack of news about the background of Van Jones, the recently departed “green czar.” “Good riddance to bad rubbish” is an old saying that seems to fit here. Those who make decisions as to whom to place in positions of importance within the administration display about the same amount of good judgment as did the majority of voters in the last Presidential election!

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Attended the early morning GOP Roundtable breakfast. The speaker presented views on the healthcare situation. His talk was well received. Also, Marlon Stutzman, another person who seeks to replace Senator Bayh made a short but good presentation.

I saw Craig McKinney out on the property in the afternoon and told him the location of the yellow jacket entrance near the goldfish pond. They will probably soon be gone. He and his group have done a wonderful job of making the property look better. Also, he told me he had my CD in his truck and thought that a couple of the songs were worth bringing to the attention of those more talented than me. Not his exact words but I was pleased. I was a little shaky today so did little more than was necessary.
