WILL IT START TOMORROW?
Could it be that the elections held tomorrow will result in those who will serve the best interest of the peoples of this country being elected? Of course, Linden believes that these most desirable candidates are the Republicans running for the Governorship of New Jersey and Virginia and for the House in California District 10 as well as the Conservative running in New York Congressional District 23.

Could it be that these elections will mark the beginning of the long sought return to responsible governing, the start of a more transparent government, the end of earmarks, the end of voting for bills that are voted on without being read—let alone understood. Could it be the beginning of the end of lobbyists wielding selfish power? Could we dream that term limits will become a reality? These items do not constitute the complete list of desirables but what a great step it would be if this election would mark the start of responsible governing by those not consumed by self- enrichment.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Friday brought Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00, a funeral for a great community leader at 11:00, a hot dog and coffee at the credit union and also taking home a bag of good popcorn and a gift card to Chick-fil-A. The credit union was having an open house type event. Attended the showing shortly before the 3:00 P.M. funeral for a State Police retiree friend.
On Saturday, Ron took me to a TCM affair on the Southeast side of Indianapolis. It was very nice and the desserts were good beyond description. A video they showed included two of those I had met in Austria. There is a story associated with each one. I enjoyed the evening very much.
Sunday brought morning church services and Sunday school. I watched most of the Colts football win and then attended and afternoon meeting and evening church services.
