DANIEL
Taken as a captive to Babylon in 606 B C, Daniel was a man of GOD who was unswerving in his faith. Because of his ability to interpret the dreams of the rulers, he rose to prominence in the country.
Because of his faith, Daniel and his friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were one time thrown into a fiery furnace. They came out of it unscathed. Another time, because of his faith, Daniel was thrown into a den of lions: once again, he came to no harm.
In all, Daniel lived in Babylon about 72 years and at the end he was told to rest and then rise to receive his inheritance.

LINDEN'S LIFE
On Tuesday, I attended the Hendricks County GOP Roundtable at 7:00…it was a good breakfast meeting. Later, distributed my recyclables and went to the post office. Did a bit more writing late in the day. I’m well behind with this project. I haven’t heard from Julie since Saturday. She and Kenneth originally intended to return from England on Wednesday (today) but were running into additional items which need attention.
A message from TCM said that they need additional short term workers for two sessions. I would simply love to go but know that I am no longer strong enough.

WRITING AND PUBLISHING. Contact me at lswift8@aol.com to request information relative to ordering any of my eight books and one CD.
REACHING OUT. I normally contribute modestly in a number of areas. Now I also contribute a portion of book sales income to new or enhanced areas of support. I also accept contributions for this effort. I was so pleased with the 2009 results that I’m expanding the effort in 2010. New or expanded recipients in 2010 include:
January, TCM, Austria, ministry scholarship. http://www.tcmi.org/
February, Hillsdale College. www.hillsdale.edu
March, African ministry. http://www.kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com/
April, TCM, second scholarship payment
