BED BUGS AND A FORMER OBAMA SUPPORTER

BED BUGS AND A FORMER OBAMA SUPPORTER
It could be that the subjects in the title of this piece really have nothing to do with each other, but Linden thinks it is a pretty good title even though both subjects possibly pertain only to conversations Linden heard or engaged in earlier in the week.

The subject of bed bugs came up while Linden was engaged in conversation with a fellow who is in the pest control business. He said that they were now a real problem, particularly in hotels. Efforts to eradicate them were not entirely successful and were very expensive. Linden wondered if perhaps DDT should have never been banned. Certainly a Congress that can buy global warming hook, line, and sinker could also be sold a bill of goods in regard to pest control. Maybe Congress should restudy the subject.

Rush Limbaugh spoke at length on Tuesday with a very intelligent sounding lady who admitted to being Conservative and having voted for Obama in 2008. Sounds mutually exclusive! She, although liking Sarah Palin simply could not stomach the idea of voting for McCain. Understandable! She thought Hope and Change could not be all bad. Although it is not likely that she will ever vote for another democrat, the Republicans should try hard to understand the demand that we be provided with better candidates.

Regarding the links below, Linden believes that you will appreciate the poem, the Laurel and Hardy dancing, and the song. Linden had an older sister named Evangeline.

LINDEN'S LIFE
I stopped by the church for some conversations as I was on my way to both a store and to pick up my mail. Also, went to Chick-fil-A for a breakfast of biscuits and gravy. Good! Scott came by my place after lunch and fixed my computer access problem. In the evening, had a good dinner and attended an equally good program.
Good recent postings at http://www.doerbitter.com/ and http://www.kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com/ also, since Linden listens to both morning and evening classical music on WICR, here is a link to the Fine Arts Society to whom he just sent another donation www.fasindy.org
