CHRISTINE
Bless this imperfect person for restoring some faith in this imperfect old man. Having a deep love for my country, it follows that I would have a keen interest in political matters. If you are a regular reader of my presentations, you already knew that.

Linden does not trouble his mind much about things such as frequency of mention in the media outlets…if he did, he would be amazed at the coverage the Christine O’Donnell win in Delaware has brought her. From Linden’s standpoint, her win signifies a continuation of the Republican Party cleansing that needs to take place. Perhaps it will even cause Party leadership to stop their support of those who are to attuned to their personal well-being at the expense of what is good for the tax paying public.

Speaking of disgusting political hacks, we have Lisa Murkowski who is mounting a write-in campaign in Alaska, after losing her bid to remain in the Senate to Joe Miller. Is it wrong to hope that she receives not a single vote?

The first link below outlines cost saving suggestions; questionable contributions is the subject of the second link; in the third link, scroll down to the Sept. 17 posting regarding how much failure to extend the Bush tax cuts may cost you; and the fourth provides just another illustration of the failure of democrat city administrations. The music link is a bonus.

LINDEN'S LIFE
Friday: Attended Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00. Household tasks.
Saturday: Attended another MPB at Kingsway. Household tasks, fixed a salad similar to one I had in Spain. Pretty good.
Sunday: For the first time in many months did not attend any church services today. Had several phone calls and a couple of visits. Jan brought me some soup and desserts. Really good! I’m hoping the cardiologist will make things better on Monday.
