HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR 30 DAYS
The four-year domination of the House of Representatives by the democrats and the control of the bad bill writing process is coming to an end. So, hold your breath and hang on.
There is still plenty of time for this group to do further damage to our country. If they don’t pass an extension of the Bush tax cuts then we will get an Obama tax increase. If they do pass an attempt to send all of we social security check recipients an additional check, we will mire our grandchildren in further debt.
There are, of course, many other areas where these defeated democrats may do further damage to our country. Hold your breath!

LINDEN'S LIFE
Friday: I was still full from the great meal with Sam and all on Thanksgiving. Not much activity during the day, Julie, Kenneth, and Jade came by in the late afternoon bringing great food from Grays. We had a good visit (never long enough) and two and a half year old Jade is always fun to be around. I read maybe three books to her and we watched “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” Loved being with them and I had talked to Brian earlier in the day so my day was complete.
Saturday: I went to the post office and stopped by church for a bit then went home and stayed inside the rest of the day. Listened to the highly satisfactory Indiana-Purdue football game and later watched part of the Notre Dame game.
Sunday: Went to church and Sunday school then on to brunch with friends. Since I hadn’t slept well the previous night, took a nap, read the paper, fixed a meal that was less good than what I’d had the last two days, etc. Talked to Sam about some of the troubles I’m having manipulating Facebook: he sent some pictures from Thanksgiving to my Facebook pages. Good pictures!
