PHILEMON

Written by Paul while in a Roman prison in about A.D. 60, the major focus of this very short letter is Onesimus, the runaway slave of Philemon.

Onesimus became a Christian after arriving in Rome where be was a close associate of Paul. Paul is sending him back to Philemon along with this letter which essentially asks for mercy and a display of Christian love for Onesimus. Philemon was a leader of the church in Colosse.

Did another load of wash, dropped off recyclables, went to the post office and drug store. After a delay of many days (daze) I returned to my more serious writing mode.
