PROTECTING THE MIDDLE CLASS?

In this posting, Linden will be relying a bit on his memory and at least as much on his math skill in making rough computations. In recent weeks there has been much publicity given democrats who abandoned their elected responsibilities to vacation in adjacent states. They said that they were doing this for the middle class.
Actually they were doing it for those union members who just happen to see many of their dues dollars diverted to support of the democrat party. With the work force consisting of roughly seven times as many non-union members as of those who are union members, representing the middle class would actually be showing support for those who are not union members.

LINDEN’S LIFE

Breakfast with Bill and Chuck. Went by the church, the post office and a nursing home. Later in the day, had a nice phone call from Julie…she was somewhere north of Indianapolis and had met with a couple I had met at one (or more) of her conventions. Later, I made an Ireland related inquiry, talked books with Joseph Allen, and had a long phone visit with Brian.
