HAS OBAMA BEEN BIDENIZED?

CONTENTS Subjects of the day – Wednesday, Bible review Linden’s Life Other Stuff Your Comments ----- HAS OBAMA BEEN BIDENIZED? Any follower of current events (when reported) is aware of the ability of our Vice President to say really foolish things. Perhaps the only actions more foolish is the record of Delaware voters in allowing him to feed at the public trough for years and years and years. Of course, when judging unmitigated foolish actions, those who voted for our current President will always be in the running for the really dense title. One of Linden’s least favorite newspaper columnists is Eugene Robinson. In his column which appeared in the Indianapolis Star on March 26 was this Obama quote, “We cannot stand idly by when a tyrant tells his people that there will be no mercy and… innocent men and women face brutality and death at the hands of their own government.” It is unlike Robinson to say anything even mildly critical of Obama. Linden believes that the column should have then gone to examples of Obama standing idly by…Sudan/Darfur comes to mind. There are others. -- Link to a Biden related article: http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/263027/biden-rails-jonah-goldberg Link to strikers and food stamps: http://www.redstate.com/laborunionreport/2011/03/25/gop-moves-to-stop-wasteful-spending-on-union-strikers/ Link to bringing back safe light bulbs: http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=42495 Link to country music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb4cA8gTVXo&feature=related ----- LINDEN’S LIFE Friday: attended Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00. Went to the post office then worked a bit on taxes. Some years ago, I made a foolish investment in a penny stock (one of several) called New Sky Productions. They made a movie called “Lady In White.” I watched some of it in the evening. Not much. Saturday: Brenda, Bob, Thuc, and I worked together before my retirement in 1996. I met them for a very pleasant lunch. Brenda now has cancer, Bob has been really sick lately, Thuc showed us a wonderful letter of recommendation his son, Long, had received from a Captain in the Navy Seals. Long has wanted to be part of that organization for quite some time. Sunday: attended church and Sunday school then went to brunch with friends. In the afternoon, attended a 90th birthday party for our pastor of long ago, Warren Robbins. It was very nice and I saw many people that I rarely see. Then, went to evening church services. ----- OTHER STUFF Primary March donation focus: local charity plus Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy http://www.fsma.org/ Feel free to make others aware of this blog and our efforts to support worthwhile political and social causes. ---- YOUR COMMENTS The comments link below has been disabled and anything that gets through by accident goes to spam.
