FIND YOU OWN CALCUTTA
This is largely a politically oriented blog and Linden can not remember the last time he chose, for two days in a row, to bring you words that were not related to a political matter. Today is that second day.
At the Monday evening meeting, Steve Ranson treated us to a very good presentation. Within his talk, he mentioned Mother Teresa’s written response to a request for guidance in working with her ministry. Her words: “Find Your Own Calcutta” struck a chord with Linden. Many of us are attempting to use our efforts to produce good results for others and, in that regard, her advice is good for each one of us. A related link follows.

Wednesday started with me having a breakfast of biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A. This was followed by trips to the post office, by the church, and to Pier 14 twice. It was a busier morning than it sounds. In the evening, I had a good dinner and a good study at church. It appears that Katie Davis won the Glamour Magazine Woman of the Year contest that we mentioned yesterday.
