Since Linden had little time for blog subject selection he will just bring you a snapshot. You probably already know that he is not a prime candidate to start an Obama admiration society. So, today, he will just bring you a bit from Michelle’s convention speech, his comments regarding it and a link to a related article. “You won’t believe what these folks are going through, Michelle…” is the bit Linden selected from within the speech transcript. Linden is well aware of her earlier statement when at an advanced age she is reported to have said, “for the first time, I am proud…”. Linden at that time thought that perhaps she is a slow learner. Now, to see the report of what her husband said she won’t believe, in spite of all the news regarding personal hardship due to job loss, doctored unemployment statistics, national debt, food stamp usage, etc, etc, it is hard to not believe that the slow learner thought is accurate. On Wednesday, after picking up and going through my mail, corresponding with Julie a bit, I met Sam for one of our quarterly (at least) luncheon meetings. Good food, good visit! Had an excellent meal and study at church in the evening.
