MONEY WELL SPENT?
Several news sources commented Tuesday about our President flying to Las Vegas to speak about immigration matters (a lesser number commented that the cost of the flight to U.S. taxpayers amounts to one and a half million dollars.) If Linden’s calculator is correct, that cost is equal to the amount of taxes paid by 300 taxpayers contributing $5,000.00 each. However, if we calculate the damage done to the taxpayer, such as contributing planes and tanks to the unsteady regime in Egypt, when the President stays in Washington, maybe it is worth a million and a half bucks a day to have him out of town.

Tuesday was a dingy day outside so I just picked up my mail and went by Pier 14 for a minute and was inside the rest of the day. Did a lot of writing and watched a movie.
