FOR REQUIRING GERMANE BILL AMENDMENTS
Perhaps one of the reasons why the Indiana State Budget process works so well is because any amendment to a bill must be germane. Perhaps the reason why the federal budget is such an embarrassing conglomeration of poorly thought out theft from taxpayers is because it has no such requirement. Does Linden think that he will live long enough to see such a drastic change enacted? NO! The reason being that it could lessen the power exercised by the leaders of the individual bodies. This could become a worthwhile project for those devoted to making desirable changes in how we are led.

Our Thursday breakfast found three of our six members missing…at least the food was good. I ran around just a bit then returned home for the rest of the day. Was on the phone a lot so made little progress on my current projects.
