In the wake of another mass killing by a mentally challenged individual there has been much editorial space and political posturing dedicated to the subject of gun control. Guns require no control. They are inanimate! Below are links to only four of what are probably thousands of instances where it was an absolute blessing that a gun was available to an individual.

Thursday brought the weekly breakfast meeting with the guys…five of us present this time. At 11:30 I went to the monthly Golden Glows affair: a great pitch-in luncheon followed by game day. I played one game then went home, stuffed, and took a long nap.
