SINGING OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM

Not long ago Linden commented upon his belief that a gaggle of harpies had purposely butchered our National Anthem just prior to some sporting event. Today, he is happy to report that he has rarely heard this beautiful song more beautifully rendered than it was by Renee Fleming just prior to the start of the Super Bowl game. Linden’s only slightly nitpicking thought is that the word “free” near the end of the song was needlessly embellished. The link below brings it to you:

Thursday started with coffee, a cinnamon roll, and conversation with a friend at a local restaurant. Later, I picked up my mail and went by the church: Paid my deposit on our upcoming trip to Johnson University. Then checked with Julie re the propane shortage and related pricing.
